Can you believe it’s already getting to the end of 2020? And that means that it’s time for holiday gift-giving! I absolutely LOVE giving gifts. Picking the perfect gift for someone is such a wonderful feeling. Sometimes though I just get stuck on what to get someone, which is when I turn to gift guides, like this one. So if you’re looking for unique travel gifts for the travel junkie in your life (or just yourself if you are that travel junkie), keep reading!

~Well Told Map Glassware
For a travel junkie, any type of map gift is usually a win. And Well Told’s products fit perfectly into this category. From map glassware to mugs to cutting boards, there is something for anyone who enjoys travel, the outdoors, or even those who love their hometowns. The map options include cities, states, national parks, constellations, and even custom requests.
My personal opinion: I got the rocks glass with the Atlanta city map on it so I can think of my home while enjoying an old-fashioned. It’s a great addition to my bar cart!
~Nabee’s Compression Socks
Compression socks are a must for anyone who travels by plane, but most are more practical than fun. Nabee is here to change that. With tons of cute colors and patterns, these socks are a fun and useful gift for the traveler in your life. Plus, who doesn’t secretly love getting socks for the holidays?!
My personal opinion: I actually haven’t used these yet, due to COVID messing up all my travel plans this year! But I’m very excited to give them a try soon. And I love the jet pattern I got, with cute little hearts and my favorite color, blue.

My personal opinion: The trickiest luggage, in my opinion, to get right is the overnight bag. lug’s Puddle Jumper tote is the perfect size for an overnight trip, short weekend getaway, or as a carry-on. I use this bag on almost every single trip I take now. It is one of my must-haves.
~Tesalate Towel
For those who love the beach as much as I do, any product that makes beach life easier is a necessity. Tesalate towels are compact, fast-drying and sand-free, plus they come in over 40 cute colors and patterns.
My personal opinion: I used this towel on my socially-distanced beach vacation this year, and I may never use a regular beach towel again. The sand-free claim is true, and I never had to deal with all that sand everywhere after coming out of the water.

For the camper or backpacker in your life, this down travel blanket is a terrific gift. It is made from the same high-end materials as premium sleeping bags and is compactable into an easy carry-on-the-go size for use anywhere.
My personal opinion: Since I’m not a big camper and the weather isn’t quite cold enough yet, I haven’t tried this out. But I am planning to put it to the warmth test on an upcoming cabin weekend to Shenandoah National Park.
~Scratch-Off Maps
If the traveler in your life wants to show off their travels, a scratch-off map is one of the most unique travel gifts you can get. These maps make wonderful décor pieces in the home, and are fun for the recipient to mark off all the places they’ve visited. You can find these in a variety of sizes and styles, from the entire globe, to a specific country or even National Parks maps.
My personal opinion: I have actually received two of these maps as gifts, and I love them both! One is of the United States, while the other is the full globe. I enjoy scratching off new places and it’s also a great conversation starter in my home.

Any traveler will tell you that packing for a trip is one of the hardest parts of travel. Which means small, practical gifts like these are always welcome.
My personal opinion: Since getting these travel toothbrushes, I only use these when I travel. Their small size makes them perfect to squeeze in to my already overstuffed bag.

This is probably one of the more unique travel gifts on my list, but also super practical and easy to pack. These 100% biodegradable kits consisting of toilet paper and sanitizing wipes are ideal for those who love camping, hiking, or any other outdoor activity far away from a bathroom.
My personal opinion: Although I haven’t had to use these in the wild yet, I carry them with me on all of my hiking trips now. It has given me peace of mind to know I’m prepared if need be, plus they’re so small that they easily fit in my hiking pack.
